Right now, it appears that YES, it is!
Perry Marshall, the author of the 2005 book Definitive Guide to Google Adwords says that it is. He says the proof is in Google?s own Keyword Research Tool.
There are three trends that are firmly established in 2009 according to Marshall.
Trend # 1 ? Existing businesses are fleeing newspapers and TV and piling onto the internet in record numbers. Google?s Keyword Research Tool shows that the number of businesses trying to get more traffic to their website has doubled in the last 12 months.
Trend #2 ? People are getting laid off from their jobs and piling onto the internet in record numbers. That?s right. The number of people starting a new online business has doubled in the last 12 months.
Trend # 3 ? If you are an affiliate marketer, the competition is growing thick. The number of affiliates is has also doubled in the last 12 months, compounding the advertising competition.
Marshall continues, ?Irresistible, titanic forces are driving people online. Record numbers of people are coming to the web to do business. As the offline economy stumbles and falters, as politicians promise helpless, ineffective solutions, the internet continues to heat up.?
Direct marketing online almost always leads a marketer to use Google Adwords. This is significant as Google is the most significant marketing media you and I have ever seen in our lifetimes. Google is at the heart of the Information Age and has changed the way we live. Google is now a verb. We say, ?Just Google it to find out.?
Marketers who are doing their own home based business online understand that Google is no longer an option; it is THE way to massive online wealth in 2010 and beyond. For most, it is akin to learning a new language. It is not easy, but it is the game changer and if you are not in the game, you will be left behind.
