The IE Mommy

I have a wonderful family, with three children. Gage is 22 months old, Lorelei is 15 and Brian will be 17. They keep me extremely busy. I love to cook, bake, crafts, scrapbook, photography, read, write, garden and be outside.? I also enjoy making new recipes to fit our healthy eating lifestyle. My time at home will end soon, because it will be time for me to take my education and help other families.

I graduated with my BA in Human Development; my MS in Education with emphasis in Special Education and after student teaching will finish my credential in Moderate to Severe Disabilities. This is my calling and I cannot wait to endure on this new journey in my life.

Overall I am a mom and wife and I love the opportunity that I have been given and hope to bring you wonderful reviews with this.

Greetings! My name is Kristin and I am honored to be a part of the IE Mommy?s Review Crew.

I have worked a gamut of different jobs in my life, everything from Pizza Maker and Preschool Teacher to Radio Station DJ and Writer/ Editor at a Ministry. I have adored reading and writing all my life, which is probably why I ended up with a Bachelor?s in Communication and a Master?s of Journalism.

However, now I?m a Stay-at-Home Mom to 4 kids with a PhD in DTSN (Diapers, Toys, and Sleepless Nights.) I love this job the best of all. I am also passionate about traveling, photography, music, and especially my family and my faith in God. I love reviewing books, dvd?s, and anything else that comes my way. It gives me a nice break to use my Non-Mommy Brain.

A few years ago I would of given my life a rating of 8 or 9 out of ten. I considered myself a good man, a good father, a good dad and a provider.?? Other people?s mistakes, family, God, friends and hard work were the stones I used to build a perfect life.? I found a great woman who loved me more than anything. We had a great son that filled my heart with joy. I had a job I loved that provided my family with a lot of material things we wanted. I had built a great life and was proud of it.

One day the life I built came tumbling down. It wasn?t till then that I saw the holes and cracks in the foundation. Not only was it broken, I built it all wrong.? The first thing I did wrong was trying to build it with no real directions.? Just like a man I kind of just looked at pictures and didn?t read the manual. It was okay if I had too many pieces or not enough. As long as it looked like the picture?it was okay

I hope to tell you how God has helped me rebuild my life to be bigger and better. I hope that what I say helps and encourages you to look at yourself and fix those holes and cracks, before life comes crumbling down. My comments and reviews are based on the foundations of my life and experience that I have shared with you.
