Sony Unveils Android ICS-powered Xperia Tablet S And Xperia T, V And J Smartphones

Because this week everybody in Berlin is talking gadgets, Sony took advantage of this occasion and?announced its new series of Xperia smartphones and a tablet that is now part of the Xperia brand, too.

Yesterda, at IFA Berlin 2012, Sony announced three new Android-powered smartphone, Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J, together with a tablet name Xperia Tablet S. The three smartphones have a lot of things in common, so I will try to underline the features that are?differentiating?them.

Sony Xperia T, or TX on certain markets, comes with a 4.6-inch touch screen panel with Reality Display technology and Mobile Bravia Engine 2. The camera fitted inside this model uses an Exmor sensor for snapping pictures at 12 megapixels and recording videos in Full HD. The presence of the NFC chip have allowed Sony to create their own variation of sharing content with a simple touch, so the Japanese have introduced One Touch.

The smartphone also comes with PlayStation?certification?for authentic gaming experience. The processor used for Sony Xperia T is a dual-core clocked at 1.5 GHz and the operating system is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean after the launch. The MHL connection will allow Full HD content sharing to a TV and help you recharge your device. The terminal will be available in Black, Silver and White.

Sony Xperia V comes with a 4.3-inch display using the same Reality Display technology assisted by Mobile Bravia Engine 2. Inside the Xperia V is a 13 megapixel camera, a dual-core 1.5 GHz CPU, with support for high-speed Internet connections via LTE. The new smartphone comes with One Touch technology, too, and Clear Audio+, for enhanced audio experience.

It also features MHL, Android 4.0.4 and several body color options. One of the Xperia V?s interesting features is the IP55/57+ support. This is a standard used for the US Army that certifies that the smartphone can be emerged in up to 1 m deep waters for as long as 30 minutes.

Xperia J has a smaller display, only 4 inches and FWVGA resolution. It also has a 5 megapixel camera, front-facing camera for video calls and a LED for notifications. Sony Xperia J will be found in stores dressed in Black, Gold, White and Pink.

The new Sony Xperia Tablet S slate boasts about a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 that helps it process the contend displayed on the 9.4-inch OptiContrast panel. The case is made of aluminium and it can resist superficial levels of water. There are a series of accessories available along with proprietary apps optimized for the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Sony Tablet.

Neither of the above mentioned Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Sony gadgets have received an official release date nor price, but we will return with new details as soon as they are made available.
