Query by Tracy C: How can I renew teaching certification if I remain at property with kids for two years?
I am a certified teacher in Texas. I will be staying home with my youngsters for 1-2 years and want to know how I can maintain up with my teaching certification? I know you have to have a particular quantity of staff development hours and I am not confident how to do it if I won?t be functioning. I want to go back to teaching in a couple many years.

Go to the DESE of the State of Texas. That is where I would begin. They have to have an answer to that question. If you taught at a school district previously, inquire them.
