Test of Surfing H3O PlayStation 2

Riding the wave of games based on sports, Rockstar gives us a little trip to sea, just to tease the waves Surfing H3O, a title that seems to have some difficulties to pass through the tube to finally drink the cup.

Test of Surfing H3O PlayStation 2

Extreme sports are in the spotlight and it's time for sports to appear on PS2, while the class representatives lacked clear so far. To say that surfing games have found their voice with decent surfing H3O, however, there is not one and the followers of the slides may be greatly disappointed. For if the presentation of this could foreshadow a soft slap such as that administered by SSX, here it is not far from it! So here we went in search of thrills, speed and roll through a soft which unfortunately offers very few possibilities in terms of its modes of play but also suffering from a severe lack of variety.

From the wave.

In principle, you will participate in a tournament or you engage in duels against other players, few opportunities annexes and therefore you should not settle for the proposed Surfing H3O. No opportunity to do some testing before going into the heart of the matter and the player could see his nerves widely sought by a title which at least has the merit of not leaving unaffected that side. You will need to complete a number of challenges to pass each level you strive to accumulate the highest total number of points by collecting bonus released into the water, or by performing a few tricks which offers us this app. Program a little thin for a PS2 game that could certainly let players be disappointed unless they had no appetite already been cut by the very unexpected realization of this title.

Nice views but impractical.

For if the opportunities are scarce in the area of ??game modes, they are just as important in terms of freedom of movement. Handling simply execrable Surfing H3O will probably want the player to swing the window especially if he has sacrificed his few savings here expecting to find an original game. From the beginning it is ejected from the wave like a sore clean and it takes many trials before reaching if only to climb on board. Once the miracle of the vertical accomplished, however, requires to move forward. Again, the puzzle starts because of inadequate shots and especially the almost impossible to understand where we are going. So we took a few rolls on the corner of the nose and then annoyed, they rattle, the plague, it becomes coarse and finally took the wise resolution to make a tea, put his slippers and say that s IS after all a sport and physical technique should be reserved for athletes with a muscular torso and virile! If by some miracle we manage, however, through perseverance to navigate and to move is still the thorny problem of the figures that surfers will complete the weakest nervously by imposing countless tests before coming to make a poor figure, failed at that.

You incarnate a few surfers in relatively few.

However, Surfing H3O is not limited to such performance and must be recognized that the graphics are also very strong. The visual environment is a poverty to fear when the level of detail is frankly disappointing for a PS2 game. The engine probably give a few honorable feeling of speed while modeling the roller remains quite poor for the support. Side the whole soundtrack seems a little better with nice music though repetitive. The waves are good the sound of waves and lacks only the cries of seagulls to enrich the soundscape of the title!

In short, Surfin H3O is a set of the most disappointing because of limited opportunities it offers but also because of its poor implementation. The gameplay is a common poverty while the handling is just painful. In short, a title that is not worth the trip and may leave fans of surf on a sense of frustration.
