(RALEIGH, NC) ? A PODS? container from the local Raleigh PODS? franchise has been a prime fixture on the set of NBC's ?George to the Rescue? during filming of an extensive home renovation episode.

The Remodelers Council of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County (HBA) used a PODS? container while renovating the home of engaged couple Rachelle and Chris. Their Knightdale home has been remodeled to make it handicap accessible and accommodate Rachelle's medical disability.

Unveiling of the newly renovated home will take place live on NBC's ?Today Show? during the 8:00 am hour on Feb. 22. The half-hour episode will broadcast April 2 on ?George to the Rescue? through local NBC affiliates.

NBC originally contacted the HBA Remodelers Council to serve as certified experts for the special charity project and quickly joined forces with many local vendors for participation. Evan Lennon, franchise owner of PODS of Raleigh, was tapped to provide onsite storage for building materials and household items in his sturdy PODS? containers.

?There is nothing more rewarding than helping deserving families and making their home improvement dreams become a reality,? said show host George Oliphant. ?I'm thrilled to use my skills to help touch people's lives, and I am incredibly grateful to the various local designers and contractors who generously donate their time and resources to help make these important renovations a reality.?

Contractor labor and the majority of materials and services for this project were donated through the support of generous sponsors to improve the livelihood of a couple in need.

?It is great to be a part of something so special in our community and PODS is pleased to have helped streamline the renovation process for Chris and Rachelle's newly remodeled home,? Lennon said.
